Instead of a once-a-month “monthly metrics” listing performance review email, I would like Peerspace to add a tab to the dropdown menu that allows you to see these metrics and KPIs at a glance at any time. Since the data is already being collected should be a fairly simple bit of code to get it added to your drop-down menu underneath “Payments”. I’m sure all hosts would greatly appreciate this feature.

Thanks for resurfacing this topic. I am curious to know which metrics you would most want to show up on an analytics dashboard if we were to build it. If you could build your dream dashboard what would it have on it?
As a reference, here’s what we send via the host stats email today:
- Space views
- Inquiries
- Bookings (this month and last month)
- Total earnings (this month and last month)
- Total favorites (this month and last month)
- Date of last booking
- Median listing prices in your local area

At this point ANY metrics would be helpful. But you guys already send stuff out, we just can’t access it at all. Being able to see how many hours we have booked for instead of just how many bookings. Breaking down the average price customers pay for each booking. If they have repeated booking. ETC These are important metrics.

As an ex Director of User Experience for a major NYC ad agency, I would say the following:
The email summary is interesting, but receiving something that provided more context and less statistics would be better.
Space views, total favs, and median pricing are very helpful. These are things that hosts have no way of easily knowing.
For the number if inquiries and bookings, I can just look in my email to see that info. They’re fun facts to see, but not really news per se.
Other contextual ideas would be (not knowing anything about how your backend works):
- Ranking in area - perhaps with an +/- score each month
- Most viewed photo - clicked on to see bigger image
- Number of shares
- Total number hours booked vs number of bookings - that’s a more telling metric
- Traffic sources - not sure if all clicks come from on-site search or also from organic search engine queries. Not sure what that stat does for me, but I’m personally curious
- Time on listing - would help judge engagement
- Anything that shows changes month over month or year over year - would help identify seasonal trends and limit speculation. I see people saying in the forums all the time that Peerspace is sabotaging us because inquiries are slow, but it could simply be that September (or whatever) is always slow
Certainly some others, but that’s what I have off the top of my head.
ALSO!! I never ever get the monthly summary email!! I used to get it years ago, but no longer. Not in my spam or other folders. Just never comes to me at all
. Fixing that would be a great start!

I’ve been hosting on peerspace for a little while now and I also host on other platforms. I love the platform and it has the most traffic for sure. One thing I think really sucks is that there is no way for us users to build solutions to our own problems by utilizing APIs. It really limits what we can do and our business’s growth. I can’t find any info, docs, or support tickets that talk about this. Am I missing something or is this just something that the Peerspace team does not want to invest it?

How can I see how many people have saved or liked my space?
Peerspace was sending out analytics for a bit showing how many views, how many times your favorited, inquiries, bookings etc. but I have not received this information in a few months. We were getting them regularly last year (2023).
We don’t really have any kind of access to any data concerning our guests or our bookings. No reports, no nothing!
