Hi all,

I am new here and am looking for feedback on my listing as I have not received an inquiry or booking. It looks like there is decent traffic….is there anything off? Historic Home Close to Downtown, Detroit, MI | Event | Peerspace

Shana, your home is gorgeous! Being that it’s listed as an event space ( and can accompany up to 30 people), my concern is parking. I’m not familiar with that area so don’t know if people come via public transportation, taxi etc but whenever I go someplace, I always ask about parking as I need a place to park. I think your starting price per hour is totally acceptable and I’d probably increase it as you get bookings ( at least for my area). I really like the dining room (dark wood) but there’s something off about the lighting in the picture. Maybe have some supplemental lighting on for the picture? Overall though, there’s been less inquiries across the board.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I think you are spot on about both the parking and the lighting in the dining room. I will reshoot the dining space and provide options for parking.

Hi Shana -

Your home looks very lovely. One suggestion I would make is to remove the dining room table from your initial photo. It makes the room look very crowded and perhaps much smaller than it is. This first photo will be the one that grabs the attention of a potential guest. I think less is more when you are photographing your space. Otherwise it looks really nice.

This is little bit off topic, but how do you even view the “traffic” to a peerspace listing? I have been clicking all over trying to find that info, but I must be looking in the wrong place.
