Hi there! I had a successful booking from a photographer (she seemed very happy) and I went out of my way to accommodate her very last minute. I left her a review (good one - they were fine and fast and courteous) but she hasn’t left me one back. My bookings are so few and far between these days which is super frustrating as is and all the peerspace folks just seem to recommend is to get MORE bookings and more good reviews! So, anyway. Is there a way for the platform to sort of ‘force’ a review like Airbnb does? I did reach out to the photog on text and she never responded.
This is the Ops Director for Graham’s listings: The platform forces renters to write a review should they wish to book another space. After a favorable rental, we’ll text the renter with an advanced screenshot of the review, remind them it will post on their profile after they submit theirs (appealing especially if it’s their first review) and give their rep a 5-star for other venues to see as well.
If you can get two out of every three renters to write a review, good benchmark depending on your volume of rentals. Bear in mind some will wait to write until they’re forced to submit the review, but Production use cases on average are more diligent, if they’re getting steady work.
