I am new and someone would like to see my space, am I allowed to ask for their cell # or give them mine so that we can communicate?
I share my cell # when a guest is interested in seeing my space, it’s faster and easier to communicate especially if they want to speak to me vs texting. The only “no no” I know of is to not accept direct payment from a guest always go through Peerspace.
Thanks Maria! I really appreciate your help.
I’m an upstart and I want to be careful.
To add to what Maria said, you want to also always use Peerspace communications when you are working out important details with a guest. It’s one thing to text or talk with someone coming to scout the location (“Hi, I’m 10 mins away, be there soon… lots of traffic!”), but you don’t want to use text/phone communication when explaining rules, making special arrangements, or changing the max number of guests you allow, for example. Basically use Peerspace communications as a paper trail so everything is documented and easily accessible to the support reps if/when they need to find resolution to an issue.
