I see there is absolute need in “mark as read” message in conversation. I know Peerspace encourages hosts to reply every person, but sometimes there is nothing to reply. Especially to the people that have already booked your venue.
For example: Guest messaged you “Great, got it”. There is not much to reply, but sometimes I even send emoji just to keep 100% response rate

It is only the first time that you reply to a guest that is counted.
After that if they reply back to you it does not matter if you do not.
I used to do the same thing - reply even if I did not need to - just to keep my response time in good standing.
