How to reschedule a booked date

How to reschedule a booked date? It’s within 3 days. Do I need to Cancel it first? If I send an “offer” it looks like it’s going to charge the client for an additional date? Or maybe it will just change the date. I can’t tell. Thank you!

@Kimberli_R Great question! I apologize for the delay. If you ever have an urgent question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at help@peerspace.com. For transparency, if you send a custom offer to an active booking, the guest will not get charged twice. If the booking update is more than the original amount, we will collect the difference. And vice versa if the booking update is for less.

Would I do this if my guest came but their photographer canceled on them at the last minute so they said they would reschedule do I do a custom offer? Or do they book a new date and pay again?

How do I make a custom offer? Do I put zero for the amount?
