Hi Lawrence, I think this is an excellent suggestion. It would solve a lot of problems for me. I don’t want or need more reviews. I have 117. What I need is to be able to enforce my house rules without the threat of a retaliatory review. The review threat ties my hands constantly. Just today I had a guest message me that they didn’t want to pay clearly defined and strenuously communicated extra charges rules that they deliberately broke. In response to me outlining these violations, the guest wrote “please waive the additional charges so we can all have a pleasant experience with this project”. To me this was a veiled threat to waive the charges or suffer a scathing review. I waived the $300 in charges.
Guests can’t use reviews as leverage for extra charges. If you see something like that please report the review to our team and it will be investigated, if it clearly violates our content guidelines it will be removed from the site.
