Guest overstayed by 90 minutes. How do I bill them through Peerspace after the fact?

Hello. Our guest last night extended their stay by 90 minutes and I want to bill them for that, but don’t see a simple way to do that. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you, Joanne

This is reported as overtime with your wrap report, that needs to be submitted within 48 hours of your booking. If the time window has passed, I would reach out to Peerspace support team to see what your options are. Good luck!

Thank you so much, Karen. I reported it in my review of the client, which I saw suggested somewhere on the site. And I reached out to support as well. The event was just last night, so it’s well within the 48 hours.

The wrap-up email you get from Peerspace will have two gray buttons at the bottom of the email: one for overtime and one for extra charges

  • Use the overtime to report overtime
  • Use the extra charges to report anything else, and you’ll need to write out the explanation and charges in a text box, so be clear and thorough.

You’ll definitely want to check your spam if you didn’t see the email, it literally comes right after your event is scheduled to be over. It’s a very simple way to add overtime charges immediately after the event. Best of luck!
