I received an inquiry from a “Weic M” at 7am with this message:
“Hey there! I absolutely love your house. My company provided me with some Peerspace gift cards, but unfortunately, my work schedule is too hectic to enjoy this trip. However, I still want to make use of these gift cards within their validity period, so I’ve decided to go ahead and book your house, even though I won’t be able to stay this time. After the booking is finalized, I’ll be sure to leave you a five-star review. What do you think about that?”
First red flag , I don’t have a house it’s a studio. Secondly, I have no mention of Peerspace offering gift cards. The next day (this morning) I received another inquiry from a Wesley W. (also at 7am) SAME exact message. Feels like a scam.I sent an offer to the first one before I caught on but I just withdrew the offer. I’ll ignore both - I don’t know what the scam would be other than be a waste of time?
