Is this some kind of scam, she is stating she has confirmed booking with me - on my calendar and in messenger she is an “inquiry” but now demanding for a refund? Booking request for February 4th and I already have someone else accepted for those times. Help please?? I asked her to text me a screenshot and she repeated she is confirmed.
One is definitely a booking and another is a inquiry. Is it even possible to have two at same time? Do you have space for two bookings? Obviously you owe the person nothing. With an inquiry, they do not get your address anyway. The person can be scamming you or just confused. Either way, tell them they aren’t booked and to take it up with Peerspace, this is not your issue. An inquiry is just questions going back and forth, a booking will have a confirmation email. If you have asked for documentation and the person fails to give it to you, they are scamming you. This person probably doesn’t have any reviews, right?

That is exactly what happened. I tried to figure this out and accommodate her - but she got mad, would not communicate and cancelled her confirmed booking that was for a totally different date.

Either she’s not very good with directions or it’s possibly an attempt to get a free booking by feigning confusion. We’ve had a few similar attempts by guests trying to game Peerspace’s cancellation policy.
