Film Shoot at $45 per hour for 24 hours
Your payout “to me” for the space rental says on Peer before service fee is $936.00. Service Fee
-$140.40 = Total $795.60.
This super wrong. It should be $1080.00. Now it confuses the outcome if I want to change the rate to $40 per hour. This is a BIG mistake Peer. Fix please!
Simple math says the booking equals $1080. Not $936. You need better calculation because if I want to put a custom rate in at $40 per hour
Hi @Ron_C1. We are including our email response here as well:
-
Are your attempting to create a booking as a “test” from your own listing? There’s a known bug where when a host is trying to create a test booking while logged into their Peerspace account for their own listing, the math won’t generate correctly. It’s a bug our tech team is trying to fix, but it doesn’t impact our users in any way, it only impacts you as the host. If you log out of your Peerspace account and try again, the math should show correctly.

If you’re trying to send a custom offer to a guest, the booking total does not auto-adjust when you increase or decrease the hours. Each time you send a custom offer, you have to manually enter the new booking total for the guest. This allows for maximum flexibility when sending custom offers.
Also make sure your settings are set to discount after 8 or more hours of use. This was something that I had to go in an update as well.
