Help needed! How do I do this…
They want to use my space to conduct an interview from 9-6 on two consecutive days. Can I use create a custom offer to bill them or should I have them just do two separate bookings? I did agree to a 10% because of the large booking so I’d need to put that in there as well which wouldn’t show up if they just go in and book.
Just click the “extend a day” link under the date and time fields in the Create Custom Offer window. This will add a 2nd day to the booking. Then calculate your price with the 10% off and manually type into the Space Rental field.
Friendly suggestion… it the future, instead of giving a percentage off, try giving away something that doesn’t take money out of your pocket. If you have in-house equipment or props that you might charge for, give those away for free instead actual money.
With Peerspace’s 15% and the 10% you gave the guest, you’re paying out 25% of your revenue.

And yes…I agree, I have been pushing back on any ask for discounts because I really believe that my price is fair and they get my time as well as full use of the space (personal home) for the price. I find 95% of the time they end up booking anyway, they just had to ask to see if they could get a deal. 
This is the Operations Director for this host, also don’t forget Peerspace’s booking tech doesn’t include a second day of cleaning fee automatically, you need to include that in the custom offer
