Hello, Is this new? I am trying to schedule a site visit and the app is not allowing me to provide my address unless a booking is confirmed? Its requesting a phone call instead…when did this change?
Hi Eddie,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We’d love to get some more details to figure out what’s going on. Please check your email inbox for a message from us, and we can continue helping there.
Thanks!
This additional layer of ‘protection’ (policing) is making discussion w/prospects more and more difficult - not everything can be discussed on text (and however the ‘request phone call’ works seems additional and un-necessary ‘tech’ that just gets in the way - we value your promotion, platform and bookings and respect your commercial terms. You need to respect your venues and that we will follow those terms.
I’ve been having that same issue. We schedule tours before bookings are allowed and now people can’t schedule tours. I had an elderly potential client who was very interested in the space but couldn’t figure out how to call and I couldn’t get her the address. How are they supposed to book a space without seeing it first? What is the solution?
I also had a site visit scheduled and was blocked from providing the address. This is moronic.
Hi Candi! Thanks for your patience! We’re currently aware of a bug that’s preventing address sharing in the mobile app, and our team is actively working on a fix.
In the meantime, you can still share your address by using Peerspace Messages on the web or through your mobile browser. We appreciate your understanding while we get this resolved!

I don’t know what you are talking about - ? – I sent a note taking issue w/the overly restrictive policy that won’t allow me to share a phone number, as a museum nearly every booking requires some level of discussion not just messages. We highly value your leads and marketing support, and follow your commercial terms so bookings coming from you go through you – but this additional restriction to keep us from speaking to leads fully is not helpful.

Hi Michael, thank you for providing some additional clarification. There are some restrictions on sharing specific site information before a booking has been accepted. However, we understand how important it is for hosts like yourself to schedule site visits before a booking request is submitted and confirmed.
In this case, we recommend sharing your phone number with the guest and coordinating the site visit over the phone. You’re absolutely welcome to coordinate site visits off the platform, as long as the booking itself is completed through Peerspace.
Yes this has been happening to me as well. We require either a facetime tour or site tour to make sure we are not renting to just anyone. Makes it impossible if we can not give address or phone number to contact our client to set up tour.
It’s almost like they didn’t even think to include hosts in the development of this new “feature”.
There’s a work around, but I’m afraid to mention it here as they may block it as well ![]()
When is this going to be fixed? I am a wedding venue, I cannot even collect the guests email or phone number to add to the calendar invite for viewings and contact. I am really trying to utilize Peerspace more but these bugs are not making it easy. I am always up front with guests even on viewings and I let them know since they found me through Peerspace, we book through Peerspace…not being able to communicate with clients efficiently is not great for the Peerspace reputation.
Please fix this issue.
the current loophole is sending the information using your desktop/online login. The app is being resolved from what I was told.
I see that they are saying it is being worked on.
I just don’t understand why they make it so much work for the hosts in order for the host to split money with the site.
Make it easier for the hosts and then the ones who are honest and booking through the site will make up for the all ones who are sneaky are try to book off the site, I am like many hosts, I don’t mind sharing revenue with a booking site as long as it is a simple system to use.
Not being able to get clients emails or phone numbers makes it nearly impossible to confirm tours, communicate about add-ons, etc.
I am currently going to lost a booking because it is expires today and the client and I can’t communicate about a tour time and date.
So that is equals a $315 loss to Peerspace if I am unable to book it.
