Recently got an email promo from Peerspace asking for hosts to upload UGC image to help train the Peerspace AI. However, there was no link to the terms and conditions for use of these images. Absolutely not doing this without understanding more about how these images are going to be used. Where can I find specifics on this?

Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, these images are not used to train AI. When you provide images of your space in action, advances in AI now allow us to better recognize the key elements – including décor, seating arrangements, or lighting styles – that define your space’s potential uses. Accordingly, our image-matching technology helps to more accurately categorize your space in an effort to increase the views your listing can receive. Increased impressions can lead to more inquiries from potential guests and, ultimately, more bookings.

As highlighted in this article, hosts should only upload images they have permission to share. We’ve also updated the post to clarify that these images are not used to train AI.
