Hello, I was getting inquiries pretty consistently and suddenly nothing for almost 2 weeks. Has something changed with the platform or do i need to maybe change my title or adjust pricing. Need some guidance and advice

I don’t understand writers stike . What is that and how do I fix it
We have no bookings either. Really hard on us.

You can fix the strike, it a contract between the Writers Guild of America and a consortium of studios. Many other labor unions, like SAG-AFTRA are also not crossing the strike lines or working on a project that would have WGA people on the project.

I’ve been hosting for over 3 years and it’s always come in waves for me. Some months I’ll have several inquires and 2 or 3 bookings back to back and then nothing for several months. I have my home listed on a similar website and it’s the same scenario. My home is listed for productions only, the writer’s strike shouldn’t be an issue since many productions are commercials, photo shoots, music videos, social media ads, etc. I’ve received a few inquires this week (none booked sadly 
I also get a lot of repeat productions and referrals now. It takes time. Can you share your link to your location to see the pricing, title, pictures etc.?

Beautiful home!!! You’re pricing is fine, my starting price is also at $125. For the size and beauty of your home, it’s a fair price. The only thing I would suggest is to increase the number of people allowed, you’re at 20, most of the productions I’ve hosted are generally 25-40 people. Since you’re also listed for private events,parties this would help too, maybe just increasing it to 30. You may also want to mention the parking situation, how many vehicles/production trucks can fit and the ease of filming in your neighborhood. This is my link in case you want ideas.
