Guest Wanting to See Space in-person before booking

I am new to hosting on Peerspace. A local producer reached out wanting to book our space in a couple of months’s time. However, he wants to see the space in-person before booking it. Is this allowed? I don’t know if I should accept this request given that I would have to give him my address 2 months before the time of the photoshoot. I would appreciate your help with this! Thank you.

Its pretty standard. They need to make sure it will work for what they are needing to film or photograph, lighting, angles, do they need to bring inbalot of decoration? You might want to get all their contact infor first and if youre uncomfortable make sure you have someone with you. These ususally take about 20 min. Ive found the more accomodating you are (within means of course) the more likely they are to book your space.

Hello, also had same request twice now. I didn’t mind giving them access. It makes sense to check out a location before committing to filming in it. Funny thing is the two who did ask to see it ahead of time didn’t book it. Can’t win them all :).

Thank you for your response. That makes sense! I replied to the two of them who made the request and will show them the space before booking. I appreciate it!

Right! Well, all we can do is try. I’m showing them the space and we will see how it goes. Thank you for your response!

This could easily be solved by adding a tour option, even paid for a small fee, to view the space ahead of a booking.
