Anyone notice a decline in bookings in the past few weeks and also a lack of message responses? We had about 8 inquiries in a couple days where the guests didn’t respond after the initial message. We reached back out 2 days later and again none of them responded.
I am in the Hollywood area and location shooting here is down 60%. I only had one booking last year and my first one this year is next week. I had an inquiry for a day this week, but never hear back. It’s tough out there and it will get tougher.
I am experiencing the same here in the Philadelphia market as well. Luckily I utilize my space to produce my own projects for an alternative source of income I suggest you do the same as well to mitigate the lack of bookings.

Try looking at the average rates for other similar listings and drop your rate below theirs. Once you get more bookings and reviews, Peerspace will show your venue more and you can raise the rate for a better profit later.

Try other booking services like gigmor, etc. You may even need to consider engaging local non-profits to use your space for workshops and other professional event gatherings.

I’ll be honest the bookings are still slow. It seems like peerspace isn’t targeting the market for rentable spaces as well as they are with people who have spaces to rent out. The only way I’m able to mitigate the cost is to use the space for my own podcast as well as service other people’s production needs as a videographer.
Not sure the context of whether you’re asking about using your own space to podcast in or asking to use mine but I’d say if you planning to convert a portion of your space to podcasting and also doing your own it is more common that I get more bookings for podcasting. A lot require the full setup which I charge for separately and render my services.
