For the last few weeks I have been receiving duplicate booking requests. Same guest for the same date/time. It’s creating some confusion for guests when I decline even though I am accepting the other. My app doesn’t need to be updated. Anyone else dealing with this?
@Tiarra_S Welcome to the host forum! We are aware of a technical issue that can cause a duplicate Booking request to be generated when the Guest submits their original request. We are looking into this and will hopefully have it remedied soon. If you encounter another duplicate Booking request the best course of action is to respond to it, telling the Guest it is a duplicate (saving your response rate) and then reaching out to us so we can get it canceled. Alternatively, you are welcome to decline the duplicate booking request as well.
If I decline the duplicate, is that a negative towards my acceptance rate?
@Tiarra_S Technically, yes. It could potentially slightly affect your Inquiry to Booking conversation rate. Best plan of action would be to email the CX team! (help@peerspace.com)
