We have many potential guests ask about brining in additional furniture and equipment through rentals. I have directed them to the Peerspace concierge system, however I don’t think anyone has used the service.
Can anyone talk about their experience with Peerspace concierge? And/or explain how the system works? Can a host contact concierge services for potential guests for quotes?
The Concierge Services team works with high quality, vetted, third-party vendors to provide any services to your guest that you or your space may not have. Our goal is to help your guest complete their event without having to handle the stress of finding vendors, negotiating contracts, or managing the logistics. Once the details have been finalized with your guest, we’ll provide a schedule that contains the delivery details including vendor contact information and order numbers.
We will try our best to help your guest with any and all services, however, our most commonly requested services are:
-Catering
-Furniture Rentals
-AV Rentals
-Staffing
-Bar Services
If your guest needs assistance with anything, have them contact our team at concierge@peerspace.com. We typically can arrange almost anything within 3 business days, however, even if your guest has less time, we’re happy to see what we can do!
Thanks Julia. This is all very helpful information, especially your list of commonly requested services. I also like that Peerspace helps coordinate logistics. I have had renters use other vendors and the communication arranging delivery and pickup was difficult.
I was wondering, do you ever quote for services before a guest has booked? Most of the inquiries I receive are clients trying to understand their full budget before booking a space.
I’ve worked with Concierge Services a few times, and they’ve been responsive to both the guests and to me. While we offer guests a list of vendors we’ve worked with successfully, that requires the renter to do the legwork. For a number of my guests (particularly those coming in from out of town), having Concierge Services available has been a great solution.
I have recommended my guests to Peerspace concierge and they gave me the feedback that it was too expensive. I recommend a vendor for rentals and catering that I like. A lot of guests don’t want to pay more on Peerspace that the price posted on the space profile. I don’t go out of my way with more services as my time isn’t included in the price of the rental
We have a list of caterers and other service providers that we will give a renter if they request it. I mention the Peerspace concierge too, but I have heard that the service is very pricey. Really, it depends upon the renters.
