I’ve had a good handful of inquiries come through my Instagram page, both studio and personal. And I direct everybody to Peerspace. I think out of all of them only 1-2 actually booked. Everyone else tried to book but they were met with an error message that wouldn’t let them complete their inquiry.
I contacted Peerspace a while back when this happened to 3 inquiries in one day and they said that they released a fix previously and provided some troubleshooting tips. Which is great, except these were all first-time users so they were definitely on the most recent version of the app when booking. None of those 3 inquiries ended up booking, I’m assuming just because the troubleshooting was a hassle.
I’ve received an “Authentication: Request failed with status code 500” and more recently “Something went wrong. Please try again.” Both of these messages several inquires sent me screenshots of.
I’m sure this has impacted my organic inquiries as a host on here. I’m not sure if I’m just unlucky, but I have seen other hosts on here experiencing a halt in inquiries over the past couple of months. Maybe this has something to do with it. Has anybody experienced something similar?
