Update minimal booking time on Peerspace

Does anyone know how to update minimal booking time on Peerspace? Someone booked us for 1.5 hours but I thought our minimum booking was 2hrs.

Hi @Arrielle_M & @Graham_M - Thank you for your posts! I am happy to provide clarity.

I’ve included the steps on how to edit your minimum hours below:

  1. Go to your listings tab of your Peerspace account.
  2. Click the “Edit” button for the listing you’d like to edit. Note: This is different than “Edit Space”.
  3. Click the “Edit” button for the section titled “Description and Rules”.
  4. Click the black pencil icon next to “Listing Details”.
  5. Adjust the minimum hours.
  6. Click the purple “Update” button.
  7. Click the black “Done Editing” button at the top to save your changes

That being said, while guests are notified that a host is likely to decline a booking request that does not meet their minimum hours, our product does not fully block guests from submitting requests below the minimum. This is intentional, as we do not want to take away any potential leads that a host may receive. Many hosts in this situation inform the guest that the request is below their minimum hours and send a counteroffer that the guest can accept that would meet their requirements.

​To send a custom offer to a guest, please follow the steps below:​

  1. Visit your Peerspace Inbox.
  2. Open the thread with the guest you would like to offer a custom price.
  3. Click “Update booking”.
  4. Update the activity details, set your custom price, click “Continue to Add-ons”. (skip over if not needed)
  5. Click “Continue to Review Booking”, confirm the details, explain the offer, and click “Send”.
