Site Manager Fee / Pricing

I would love to hear an average of what you charge when it comes to a Site Manager Fee for an 8-hr, multi-day commercial shoot? Thank you in advance, Lisa

$350/day in San Jose for a studio attendant, sometimes $250 if it’s just a PA hanging around refilling the Keurig that we’d already have scheduled.

If it’s more like Grip/Gaffer “who know s the studio equipment” then full day rate for Grip or Gaffer plus 20%.

I have never charged for a site rep. In my case, here is not equipment to help with, only any general questions to answer. Do you find any resistance to paying a site rep fee?

thank you for sharing!

No, I was just curious on current pricing - thank you

Interesting. We’ve always included a site rep as part of the booking. I don’t trust renters in my space alone so it is more for my own benefit anyway. But this is just one of us hanging around (out of the way) and we’re really there just to troubleshoot problems if they pop up. If they request any gear or help with equipment then we’d charge for that.

Now I am curious to find our who else is charging for a site rep. We charge a fairly high rental rate so I’m not very inclined to add on another fee. Everyone’s always looking for a discount anyway.

I’m not comfortable with people being in my space alone so I, or my assistant, are here anyway. I do not charge an additional site manager fee.
