This is just an observation - the turnaround time for receiving payments after I’ve hosted an event under a Competitor’s platform has been 48 hours/2 days (not business days). The turnaround time under Peerspace platform is about 5 days. Both companies use the same third party processor, Stripe. I use Stripe for my business as well. Can I wait? Sure, but it’s 2023 and the extra few days isn’t really necessary.
Again just an observation/feedback, and maybe a hint for Peerspace as this is your competitor.
The extra time is for the 72 hours we all have to give reviews, add charges, and make any disputes.
Some of their competitors still send checks at the end of the month. I’m still happy to accept the money.
I’m not seeing any payments come thru our bank account. We have booked 3 events that paid already and it’s been a few weeks. Where is it? I emailed to ask, but it feels like not many humans are running the host inquiries. Any advice would be helpful. Thx
I noticed you said booked and paid but has has the booking happened as of yet (completed). You do not receive any payment until after they have occurred. It usually takes anywhere from 3 to 7 business days to receive your direct deposit.
