Good day… I did mention this through chat but felt i should add it to the forum. In the addons page in the description, i would add a sentence and when i press enter, it would start a new line. When i publish it, the next line doesn’t exist. All the characters are in 1 sentence so instead of multiple paragraphs for example, its just one long continuous paragraph.
Here is an example:
Farm land
2 acres with plenty of space
lots of grass
View of mountain peaks as well as the sky
When i publish it, every potential renter views it like this:
Farm land 2 acres with plenty of space lots of grass view of mountain peaks as well as the sky
Will there be a fix to this in the next update? Thanks.
Hi @Omri_H - Thank you for your post! Adding line breaks within the description of an add-on is not supported at this time. However, I can definitely see how this would be a helpful update to the add-on feature! We have shared this with the Development team for further evaluation, thank you for your valuable feedback!
Thanks guys. I’m not really understanding what your wanting me to put in it’s place for the time being @Yvonne_E . Looks like ***? Perhaps? I’ll just hang tight for the update to take place. Thanks again for the replies.
Yeah. Couldn’t get it to work as I hoped. I thought that by putting some starts between the words and capitalizing the beginning of each phrase, it would make it clearer. But every time I attempted to do that, the format changed when I sent it. Sorry to clog up your post.
I would uses spaces and ‘pipes’ to get this across in plaintext.
Example:
Farm land | 2 acres with plenty of space | lots of grass | View of mountain peaks as well as the sky
If you don’t like ‘pipes’ you could double-colons :: or other text separators.
Good day. Just looking for an update on my request. I received a request today from a potential renter who is interested in the food package but due to the issue in relation to my request. She appeared to be confused due to the layout. Would you happen to have any insight in regard to the timeframe for the fix? Thanks again and sorry to be a bother. I just don’t want to miss out on potential revenue due to confusion.
Hi @Omri_H - My apologies for any confusion! I will review the inquiry and your listing and follow up with you directly via email for further assistance. You can expect that email shortly!
