Need Better Notification Settings

I get 3 notifications whenever a message is delivered to my Peerspace inbox.

  • One via text messaging
  • One via Email
  • One via App notification (sometimes two…)

This is too many, and there’s no way to customize this that I have found. You can only turn on/off mobile push notifications for the broader categories of “Account Activity,” “Alerts and Recommendations,” and “Offers and News.”

Let me know if I’m missing something! Peerspace’s recent update regarding the calendar sync was good, and I hope they can push something out for this soon as well.

Hi @Shihan_Y - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We’re planning to develop a new preference center that will make it easy to manage all your Peerspace notifications in one place. Until that’s available, here are a few ways you can update your settings right now:

  • Text messages: Open any Peerspace SMS and reply with STOP to opt out. Note that once you opt out, you cannot easily opt back in.

  • App notifications: Open the Peerspace app, head to Account > Notifications and toggle off “Account Activity” to stop new message alerts. This can be turned back on at any point.

We will send you emails regardless, so you can decide to rely on those alone, and stop SMS and app notifications if you’d like.
