Is there a place to set a minimum hourly rental ? I get a lot of people looking to book an hour "We got 15 people crew and want to shoot a video " I couldn’t even set up my gear in an hour ?

You can set a minimum - it’s under the “More Options” tab - but the platform doesn’t automatically enforce it. Guests will still be able to inquire about and instant book for shorter rental periods so the onus is still on hosts to enforce it. This is a topic of some controversy amongst hosts and Peerspace with lots of strong options on both sides and several conversation threads dedicated to it. I am team “minimum means minimum…”, which is one of the many many reasons I do not have Instant Book enabled for my properties and probably never will.

Thank you. It took me forever to find. I had it set for 2 hr min. but accepted a booking for an hour. We’ll see what happens.

We set ours for a 4 hour minimum but still got a one hour booking. Doesn’t peerspace not allow for the booking to happen if that’s the case or is that something we need to reply to them explaining?

I have a 2 or 3 hour minimum, right now it’s 2 hours because business is slow.
However if someone tries to book for 1 hour, it’s a red flag to me.
I specifically went to 2-3 hour minimum since the 1 hour shoots are usually trouble in some way.
Just a week ago, a guy tried to book one hour to shoot a music video scene and then shoot portraits… I said “not enough time” and he bailed on me.
Which is actually fine, think I dodged a bullet there.
