Just curious how any venues on here are booking anything if they are in the Portland Metro area? I thought that, technically, no venue should be open until phase 2 per the guidelines set out by the Governor/Oregon Health Authority. We have been closed for months, only accepting bookings for small video/photo shoots or individual customers who need the space for a very specific purpose. Just wondering if other people are doing the same, or maybe have a completely different take on the guidelines I’m talking about?
The additional $600 for enhanced unemployment ended, but our bills never stopped. They told everyone to stay at home, but expected us to still pay rent and purchase food.
It’s sadly the reason why the pandemic is so bad and even sadder, it’s the reason we are risking our lives to work. I would only turn them away if I could comfortably afford to do so!
