Hi I just joined Peerspace and the guest wants to cancel due to actor availability. His shoot is within 2 days. Am I penalized if I cancel the booking for him? Would it be better to proceed with the booking and reduce the number of hours so that he does not pay as much? Your guidance is sought!
What is your cancelation policy? Since he’s canceling so soon, he may not get a refund. DO NOT cancel yourself. You will be penalized.

If a guest wants to cancel I alway have them cancel so I am not penalized.
I always let them know about the cancellation policy and if they cancel they have to do it on their end. If my guest is a regular and have booked before, I offer them some sort of credit as price adjustment if they book with me next time. For example if they booked for $1000 I will give them $200 credit for the next booking within 2 months. So they would book with me again.
Yeah, I’d stick to your policies. I’d be more inclined to allow them to reschedule as opposed to refunding. That is between the person who booked and the actor who became unavailable.
