Clients keep trying to book Media Productions as Meetings

Hi there,
I am relatively new here and enjoying being a host but what is with all the people trying to book your cheapest option when it’s not what they’re actually booking?

It’s making me want to just raise my meetings price to avoid all the hassle…

We allowed meetings for about 2 weeks before removing the option for the same reason. Best thing you can do is put at the top of the description that meetings are not for production or events. You can always submit camera footage to show if something was booked at the wrong rate.

Possible solutions would include adding “For Production Shoots/Fittings listing and pricing, click this link,” add that to your Host Rules, plus add that the renter agrees any misrepresented use case will result in either the proper amount of received post-rental, and/or immediate ejection from the space, all at the venue’s discretion.

And if they actually make it on-site, document the fraud in real time, send to Peerspace and have them delete the review option out in advance.
