This is a question for Peerspace to answer.
California’s new law (as of July 1st) requires advertised rates to include all mandatory fees. How will this affect our posted hourly rates? Will Peerspace add their booking fee to the advertised/posted hourly rate shown on each listing? Example: Host’s rate is now shown as $100 per hour and Peerspace adds their booking fee to the total when the guest submits an inquiry or booking request. Will the advertised hourly rate be automatically changed to $120 per hour?
I’m curious if peerspace listings in CA will be affected on the new service fee law that passed on July 1 that bans hidden fees. Will it become included in the hourly rate? Thanks
