It is becoming more apparent that a scouting/site visit option would be great. This would help provide an agreed date and time to meet and allow the guest to view the place while booking it on a calendarized day/time. If there is an option for it, please advise!
As I am nearing my 10th booking and 5th scouting/site visit beforehand, this would definitely make it a smoother process for both the guest and myself. Thanks and any feedback is appreciated.
Great idea. I just list that scouting is greatly advised in my location listings. One other platform does set that up and they charge the clients a scout fee too.
That’s a good call @Claudia_B! I will be adding a scouting recommendation for my listings now.
Was also thinking that there may be a lower flat fee for a scouting as it does take a significant amount of time to prep, clean, and organize the booking. An option on Peerspace may be good - perhaps this can be done as an add-on. @Tommy_R has a good thread started on this too.

I think that scouting should be an additional charged process. I have had people schedule a scout even after we had determined that my location was not a fit because of their requests which were in opposition to mine. I kept the time open and they stood me up. This is a waste of my time and cost me morney.
