I assumed add ons billed “per hour” could/would be matched to the hours booked. So if a client booked 4 hours, and wanted to add additional space, it would charge the space for 4 hours. 6 hours booked, it would do the add on for 6 hours. Etc.
I’m not finding a way to automate that. Am I missing a button somewhere? Anyone have any ideas? I have a problem where for the “per/hour” add on they put quantity 1, instead of the actual number of hours they booked. I’d like the add on quantity to map to the booking quantity.
If this isn’t available, @peerspace-team can this be considered for a fifth drop down option on the Add on pricing menu?
Hi Kevin! Thank you for your post — we appreciate you sharing this idea.
At this time, there isn’t a way to automate per hour add-ons so they automatically match the number of hours in a booking. While we can definitely see how this could be helpful in certain situations, like the examples you mentioned, guests don’t always need to use an add-on for the full duration of their booking. For instance, a guest might book your space for 4 hours but only need access to an extra room for the last 2.
Because of this, we recommend reviewing each booking’s details and confirming the guest’s needs. If the add-on quantity wasn’t selected correctly when the booking was submitted, you can follow up with a custom offer to adjust it as needed.
That said, we completely understand how automated syncing could be useful in some cases, and we’ll be happy to share your feedback with our Product Team for future consideration.
Thanks again for reaching out and taking the time to suggest this — it’s always appreciated!
