Is anyone else experiencing an issue where new bookings are not being updated on the calendar? This can lead to multiple bookings for the same time slot. I know last week there was a problem with guests having double bookings for the same time slot, more than just a visual glitch, but actually two separate booking IDs for bookings that had the same exact date and time. This should be impossible to do if everything is working correctly.
Example: I just got a booking confirmation a few hours ago, I got the email and alert, but it does not show itself in my calendar anymore. The calendar info is what we use to get information about our booking that helps us control room access. It contains the booking ID, name of guest..etc
As far as my calendar is concerned, there is no booking happening. I Generally use my calendar instead of the Peerspace app because we all know how glitchy PS app and interface can be.
IF youre experiencing the same problem and are on any other booking platforms, this will essentially break the communication between calendars and lead to double bookings AKA refunds that you will have to give out in the event that it happens.
It has been happening in the last 48 hours and have something to do with whatever their “fix” was for the double bookings last week.
