Thank you for adding this feature. I like where it is placed in the listings and the simplicity of clicking a button to read more.
I have always had a smart home where light switches are not needed-I have now covered them and tell all guests not to touch them ever. I also ask if anything needs to be moved to ask me to move it to reduce sanitation needs.
After a booking I use hydrogen peroxide for 7-10 minutes and then wipe. Anything fabric or delicate I use my UV light for several slow swipes. I also do have everyone fill out a very very detailed covid waiver form that protects me and makes them state they are comping with all health regulations.
MY BIG ISSUE-I have a mandatory mask rule that everyone must wear on site, crew always and those in front of camera may remove when calling action. My big question-it is impossibly hard to enforce and we should be able to review guests with this as a category now as they may be perfect guests in all ways except refusing to wear masks.
I have asked a few shoots to leave due to this fact of endangering others and possibly permanently damaging my business (since the state or city of NY can now fine and shut places down for non compliance)
How can we as hosts enforce this? What power, authority, and oversite does peerspace provided and assist with this?
I shouldn’t have to give refunds or get bad reviews from guests who are endangering the public and my company and ignoring mandatory state and international health guidelines.
Would love to hear how other hosts deal with this as well.
Rony, what’s your update on a site wide liability release for all hosts that includes Covid-19 disclaimer??? Is that ever going to happen?
